Razglašam Zakon o ratifikaciji Protokola o spremembi Zaupne varnostne priloge k Sporazumu med pogodbenicami Severnoatlantske pogodbe o sodelovanju na področju jedrskih podatkov (MPSZVP), ki ga je sprejel Državni zbor Republike Slovenije na seji 4. marca 2010.

O RATIFIKACIJI PROTOKOLA O SPREMEMBI ZAUPNE VARNOSTNE PRILOGE K SPORAZUMU MED POGODBENICAMI SEVERNOATLANTSKE POGODBE O SODELOVANJU NA PODROČJU JEDRSKIH PODATKOV (MPSZVP)

1. člen

Ratificira se Protokol o spremembi Zaupne varnostne priloge k Sporazumu med pogodbenicami Severnoatlantske pogodbe o sodelovanju na področju jedrskih podatkov, sestavljen v Bruslju, 2. junija 1998.

P R O T O C O L
Amending the Security Annex to the Agreement between the Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty for Co-operation regarding Atomic Information
Considering that developments in the security of Atomic information require the revision of the frequency of the comprehensive security inspection of all NATO military and civilian elements and member nations which have received information under the Agreement between the Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty for Co-operation regarding Atomic information,

the undersigned Parties have agreed as follows:

ARTICLE 1

The Security annex to the Agreement between the Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty for Co-operation regarding Atomic information done at Paris on June 18, 1964 is hereby amended as provided for in Article 2.

ARTICLE 2

The first sentence of section X. Security Inspections, paragraph A, of the Security Annex to the Agreement between the Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty for Co-operation regarding Atomic information shall be replaced by the following sentence:

"A. Comprehensive security inspection of all NATO military and civilian elements and member nations which have received Atomic information under the Agreement shall be made regularly, during a period to be determined by the North Atlantic Council on a recommendation by the NATO Security Committee, in accordance with the criteria set forth in Section 1, Paragraph A of this Annex."

ARTICLE 3

This Protocol shall enter into force upon receipt by the Government of the United States of America of notification from all states Parties to the Agreement between the Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty for Co-operation regarding Atomic information, that they are willing to be bound by the terms of this Protocol.

ARTICLE 4

The Government of the United States of America shall inform all parties and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, of each notification and of the entry into force of this Protocol.

ARTICLE 5

This Protocol shall bear the date on which it is opened for signature and shall remain open for signature until it has been signed by all Parties to the Agreement between the Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty for Co-operation regarding Atomic information.

In witness whereof, the undersigned representatives have signed the present Protocol.

Done at Brussels, this 2nd day of June 1998, in the English and French languages, both texts being equally authoritative, in a single original which shall be deposited in the archives of the Government of the United States of America, who shall transmit certified copies thereof to all the signatory and acceding States.
