Prispevek obravnava kratko zgodovino visokega šolstva v Hrvaški z vidika najpomembnejših informacij in dogodkov. Vključuje informacije o hrvaškem visokošolskem sistemu, tipih visokošolskih institucij in doseženih stopnjah v posameznih študijskih ciklih. Prispevek v nadaljevanju primerja študijske stopnje pred vključitvijo in po vključitvi v bolonjski študijski proces ter obravnava vikošolsko reformo, ki še traja. Prispevek poudarja pomembnost programa Erasmus+ in interesa študentov in osebja, da v njem sodelujejo. Izpostavi pa tudi študijske smeri, ki so prepoznane kot potrebne na hrvaškem trgu dela.

The article is introduced by the brief history of higher education in Croatia in view of the most important information on the key events in the Croatia's history. It includes the information on the higher education system in Croatia, the types of higher education institutions and the degrees obtained after each cycle of studying. The article also presents the comparison of the degrees obtained before the introduction of the Bologna Process and those obtained after its implementation. It also includes the information on the Reform of Higher Education which is still in process. The article states the importance of the Erasmus Programmes and the interests of students and teaching stuff in participating in it. It points out some of the degree professions which are in demand in Croatia.
