Na podlagi tretjega odstavka 63. člena zakona o zunanjih zadevah (Uradni list RS, št. 1/91-I) izdaja Vlada Republike Slovenije
UREDBO
o ratifikaciji sporazuma med Republiko Slovenijo in Avstralijo o vzpostavitvi diplomatskih odnosov

1. člen

Ratificira se sporazum med Republiko Slovenijo in Avstralijo o vzpostavitvi diplomatskih odnosov, sklenjen z izmenjavo not z dne 31. januarja in 5. februarja 1992.

2. člen

Sporazum se v izvirniku v angleškem jeziku in slovenskem prevodu glasi:

The Australian Embassy, Vienna presents its compliments to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and has the honour to refer to the letters exchanged between the Australian Foreign Minister Senator Evans and the Slovenian Foreign Minister Dr. Rupel on the establishment of diplomatic relations between Australia and the Republic of Slovenia.

The Embassy confirms that Australia wishes to proceed with establishing diplomatic relations with the Republic of Slovenia. It is suggested that this Note and a response in similar terms from the Republic of Slovenia should constitute an agreement between Australia and Slovenia on the establishment of diplomatic relations.

The Australian Embassy, Vienna avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia the assurances of its highest consideration.

"The Australian Embassy, Vienna presents its compliments to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and has the honour to refer to the letters exchanged between the Australian Foreign Minister Senator Evans and the Slovenian Foreign Minister Dr. Rupel on the establishment of diplomatic relations between Australia and the Republic of Slovenia.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs has the honour to inform you that the Ministry fully agrees with the text of the cited Note.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs considers therefore, the 5th of February, 1992 as a date of establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs kindly asks the Australian Embassy in Vienna to confirm the receipt of this Note.

The Ministry for. Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Australian Embassy in Vienna the assurances of its highest consideration.
