INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON RAISING AWARENESS OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL LIABILITY DIRECTIVE (ELD)

At the conference we will address the field professionals and key stakeholders relevant to the implementation of the legislation on responsibility for environmental damage. We will present best practices from Europe with special attention to the practices of our neighbouring countries. The objective of the EcoLex Life project and the international conference is to raise the awareness of the stakeholders, to engage them in dialogue and in that way contribute to reducing the risk of environmental damage. The EcoLex Life project is aimed at creating an online platform about environmental legislation with comments about key regulations, empowerment and more efficient implementation of environmental legislation in the part that relates to the liability for causing environmental damage, all in accordance with the implementation of the European Environmental Liability Directive (ELD).
