Razglašam Zakon o ratifikaciji Sporazuma med Vlado Republike Slovenije in Vlado Finske o prenehanju veljavnosti Sporazuma med Vlado Republike Slovenije in Vlado Republike Finske o spodbujanju in zaščiti naložb (BPVFISZN), ki ga je sprejel Državni zbor Republike Slovenije na seji dne 13. julija 2021.

O RATIFIKACIJI SPORAZUMA MED VLADO REPUBLIKE SLOVENIJE IN VLADO FINSKE O PRENEHANJU VELJAVNOSTI SPORAZUMA MED VLADO REPUBLIKE SLOVENIJE IN VLADO REPUBLIKE FINSKE O SPODBUJANJU IN ZAŠČITI NALOŽB (BPVFISZN)

1. člen

Ratificira se Sporazum med Vlado Republike Slovenije in Vlado Finske o prenehanju veljavnosti Sporazuma med Vlado Republike Slovenije in Vlado Republike Finske o spodbujanju in zaščiti naložb, sklenjen z izmenjavo not 10. septembra 2020.

2. člen

Sporazum se v izvirniku v angleškem jeziku in prevodu v slovenskem jeziku glasi:

VERBAL NOTE

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia and has the honour to propose that

the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Finland and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia on the Promotion and Protection of Investments, signed on 1 June 1998 in Helsinki shall be terminated.

For greater certainty, the Parties to the said Agreement agree that Article 12.3, which extends the protection of investments made prior to the date of termination, shall also be terminated and shall not produce any legal effects provided in the said Article.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland proposes that in case the Government of the Republic of Slovenia accepts the above mentioned proposal, this note together with the reply note from the Government of the Republic of Slovenia shall constitute a termination agreement.

The termination agreement shall enter into force on the thirtieth day after the date on which the Contracting Parties have notified each other that the legal requirements for the entry into force of this agreement have been fulfilled.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia the assurances of its highest consideration.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia presents its compliments to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland and has the honour to confirm the receipt of the Ministry's note No. PC0TMWLC-9 of 29 July 2020 stating the following:

"The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia and has the honour to propose that

The Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Finland and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia on the Promotion and Protection of Investments, signed on 1 June 1998 in Helsinki shall be terminated.

The Government of the Republic of Slovenia accepts the above mentioned proposal, so that the above mentioned Ministry's note and this note in reply constitute the termination agreement, which shall enter into force on the thirtieth day after the date on which the Contracting Parties have notified each other that the legal requirements for the entry into force of the termination agreement have been fulfilled.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland the assurances of its highest consideration.
