AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA AND THE REPUBLIC OF TURKMENISTAN REGARDING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS
The Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Turkmenistan,
guided by a desire to strengthen and develop relations between the two countries in accordance with the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations, Final Act of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe,
have agreed as follows:
Article 1
The Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Turkmenistan will establish diplomatic relations with each other at the ambassadorial level.
Article 2
The Parties to this Agreement agree that the provisions of Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 18 April 1961 shall apply to diplomatic relations between them.
Article 3
The Parties to this Agreement agree that the provisions of Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of 24 April 1963 shall apply to consular relations between them.
Article 4
This Agreement enters into force upon signature.
Done in duplicate in the Slovene, Turkmen and English language at Ashgabat on 11 November 1993.
