2. člen

Sporazum se v angleškem izvirniku in slovenskem prevodu glasi:

Agreement
between the Republic of Slovenia and the Kingdom of Sweden concerning the abolition of visas

Article 1

Swedish citizens holding valid Swedish passports shall be free to enter the Republic of Slovenia at any authorized border crossing point and to stay in the Republic of Slovenia for a period not exceeding three months without being required to obtain a visa.

Article 2

Slovenian citizens holding valid passports of the Republic of Slovenia shall be free to enter Sweden at any authorized border crossing point and to stay in Sweden for a period not exceeding three months without being required to obtain a visa. This period of three months shall be calculated from the date of entry into any Nordic State being a Party of the Convention of 12 July, 1957, on the waiver of passport control at the intra-Nordic borders. Any sojourn in any of those States during six months preceding the entry into any of those States from a non-Nordic State shall be included in the above period of three months.

Article 3

It is understood that the waiver of the visa requirement does not exempt persons benefiting under this agreement from the necessity of complying with the laws and regulations in force in the respective country concerning entry, residence – temporary or permanent – and work.

Article 4

The authorities of each country reserve the right to refuse permission to enter or stay in the country to persons considered undesirable.

Article 5

The authorities of each country undertake to readmit without formality, into its territory, any of its citizens.

Article 6

Either Government may temporarily suspend the foregoing provisions in whole or in part, except Article 5 thereof, for reasons of public order. Such suspension shall be notified immediately to the other Government through diplomatic channels.

Article 7

The present Agreement shall enter into force on 1 March 1992. The Agreement may be denounced by either Government by notification in writing, the denunciation talking effect one month after the date of the notification.

Sporazum <br /> med Republiko Slovenijo in Kraljevino Švedsko o ukinitvi vizumov

1. člen

Švedski državljani, ki imajo veljavno švedsko potno listino, lahko prosto vstopijo v Republiko Slovenijo na vsakem pooblaščenem mejnem prehodu in bivajo v Republiki Sloveniji manj kot tri mesece, ne da bi jim bilo treba pridobiti vizum.

2. člen

Slovenski državljani, ki imajo veljavno potno listino Republike Slovenije, lahko prosto vstopijo v Švedsko na vsakem pooblaščenem mejnem prehodu in bivajo na Švedskem manj kot tri mesece, ne da bi jim bilo treba pridobiti vizum. Obdobje treh mesecev se šteje od datuma vstopa v katerokoli nordijsko državo, ki je članica Konvencije o odpravi kontrole potnih listov na mejah med nordijskimi deželami z dne 12. julija 1957. Vsako bivanje v katerikoli od teh držav v. obdobju šestih mesecev pred vstopom v katerokoli od teh držav iz nenordijske države se upošteva v prej omenjenem trimesečnem obdobju.

3. člen

Razume se, da oprostitev obveznosti pridobitve vize ne oprošča oseb, ki uživajo ugodnosti po tem sporazumu od obveznosti, da se ravnajo po veljavnih zakonih in predpisih ustrezne države, ki se nanašajo na vstop, začasno ali stalno bivanje ter delo.

4. člen

Pristojni organi obeh držav si pridržujejo pravico, da nezaželenim osebam odrečejo dovoljenje za vstop ali bivanje v državi.

5. člen

Pristojni organi obeh držav se obvezujejo, da bodo brez formalnosti ponovno sprejeli na svoje območje vsakega svojega državljana.

6. člen

Obe vladi lahko zaradi javnega reda začasno v celoti ali delno prenehata izvajati ta sporazum z izjemo 5. člena. O takem prenehanju je treba takoj obvestiti drugo vlado po diplomatski poti.

7. člen

Ta sporazum začne veljati 1. marca 1992. Vsaka vlada lahko ta sporazum odpove s pisnim obvestilom. Odpoved stopi v veljavo en mesec po datumu obvestila.
