Sklep se v izvirniku v slovenskem in angleškem jeziku glasi:

SKLEP SKUPNEGA ODBORA  SLOVENIJA - EFTA     št. 2/ 2001

(Sprejet na petem sestanku dne 24. aprila 2001) SPREMEMBA PROTOKOLA D O MONOPOLIH, KI NISO V SKLADU Z 10. ČLENOM

SKUPNI ODBOR

glede na to, da sta Liechtenstein in Švica odpravila svoja državna monopola na smodnik, in

ob upoštevanju 32. člena Sporazuma

SPREJME ODLOČITEV:

Sporazum se dopolni, kot sledi:

1. Protokol D se nadomesti z naslednjim besedilom:

“PROTOKOL D MONOPOLI, KI NISO V SKLADU Z 10. ČLENOM

10. člen tega sporazuma se uporablja za Liechtenstein in Švico v zvezi z njunima monopoloma na sol le toliko, da bosta ti državi morali izpolniti ustrezne obveznosti, ki izhajajo iz posameznih sporazumov med državami EFTE in Evropsko skupnostjo.“

2. Ta odločitev začne veljati 1. julija 2001.

3. Generalni sekretar Evropskega združenja za prosto trgovino deponira besedilo te odločitve pri depozitarju.

DECISION OF THE JOINT EFTA-SLOVENIA COMMITTEE     No. 2 of 2001

(Adopted at the fifth meeting on 24 April 2001)

REVISED PROTOCOL D CONCERNING MONOPOLIES NOT ADJUSTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 10

THE JOINT COMMITTEE,
    Noting that Liechtenstein and Switzerland have abolished their state monopolies concerning gunpowder,
    Having regard to Article 32 of the Agreement,
    DECIDES:
    The Agreement shall be amended as follows:
    1. Protocol D shall be replaced with the following wording:

“PROTOCOL D

MONOPOLIES NOT ADJUSTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 10

Article 10 of this Agreement shall apply to Liechtenstein and Switzerland with regard to their state monopolies concerning salt only to the extent that these States will have to fulfil corresponding obligations under the respective Agreements between the EFTA States and the European Community.”
2. This Decision shall enter into force on 1 July 2001.
3. The Secretary-General of the European Free Trade Association shall deposit the text of this Decision with the Depositary.
