2. člen

Sklep št. 1 se v slovenskem in angleškem jeziku glasi:*

SKLEP ŠT. 1 <BR>SKUPNEGA ODBORA PO SPORAZUMU O PROSTI TRGOVINI MED REPUBLIKO SLOVENIJO IN REPUBLIKO HRVAŠKO     o spremembi Priloge A k Protokolu 2 Sporazuma o prosti trgovini med Republiko Slovenijo in Republiko Hrvaško

SKUPNI ODBOR JE,

ob upoštevanju Sporazuma o prosti trgovini med Republiko Slovenijo in Republiko Hrvaško, podpisanega dne 12. decembra 1997 v Zagrebu, in še posebej njegovega 38. člena,

glede na to, da obstaja močan interes obeh pogodbenic po povečani medsebojni zunanjetrgovinski menjavi, tudi na področju trgovine s kmetijskimi izdelki,

na svojem prvem zasedanju dne 17. novembra 1998 v Ljubljani

SPREJEL NASLEDNJI SKLEP:

Priloga A k Protokolu 2, ki je sestavni del Sporazuma o prosti trgovini med Republiko Slovenijo in Republiko Hrvaško, se spremeni, kot sledi:

Pri oznaki HS/KN 0808.101 se količina 6.000 ton črta in nadomesti s količino 8.000 ton.

Besedilo pod opombo “1” se črta in nadomesti z besedilom, ki se glasi:

“1 – Izdelki se ne smejo uvažati v Republiko Hrvaško od 1. septembra do 31. decembra, od 1. januarja do 31. avgusta pa se uvažajo v naslednjih količinah:

od 1. januarja do 31. januarja:                          500 ton
od 1. februarja do 28. februarja:                        500 ton
od 1. marca do 31. marca:                              1.000 ton
od 1. aprila do 31. avgusta:                           6.000 ton

– Od 1. januarja do 28. februarja se sorta Idared ne more uvoziti v Republiko Hrvaško v okviru Sporazuma o prosti trgovini med Republiko Slovenijo in Republiko Hrvaško.”

Ta sklep je sestavni del Sporazuma o prosti trgovini med Republiko Slovenijo in Republiko Hrvaško.

Ta sklep začne veljati na dan prejema zadnjega od uradnih obvestil o izpolnitvi notranjepravnih pogojev za začetek veljavnosti, začasno pa se uporablja od 1. januarja 1999.

DECISION No. 1    <BR>OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE TO THE FREE TRADE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA AND THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA    on the amendment of Annex A to Protocol 2 of the Free Trade Agreement between the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Croatia

THE JOINT COMMITTEE
    taking into account the Free Trade Agreement between the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Croatia signed on December 12, 1997 in Zagreb, especially its Article 38,
    considering the strong interest of both Parties to increase mutual foreign trade also in the field of trade with agricultural products,
    has at its first session on November 17, 1998 in Ljubljana
    DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:

Annex A to Protocol 2 constituting an integral part of the Free Trade Agreement between the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Croatia shall be amended as follows:
a) The quota of 6.000 tons for HS/CN Code 0808.101 shall be deleted and replaced by the quota of 8.000 tons.
b) The text in the footnote “1“ shall be deleted and replaced by the following text:

“1 – Products shall not be imported into the Republic of Croatia from 1 September to 31 December, and from 1 January to 31 August they shall be imported in these quantities:

from 1 January to 31 January:                           500 tons
from 1 February to 28 February:                         500 tons
from 1 March to 31 March:                             1.000 tons
from 1 April to 31 August:                            6.000 tons

– From 1 January to 28 February Idared variety shall not be imported into the Republic of Croatia within the framework of the Free Trade Agreement between the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Croatia.“

This decision shall constitute an integral part of the Free Trade Agreement between the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Croatia.

This decision shall enter into force on the day of receipt of the last notification confirming that the respective internal legal requirements for the entry into force have been fulfilled, and shall be applied provisionally from January 1, 1999.
