P R O T O K O L <BR>O VZPOSTAVITVI DIPLOMATSKIH ODNOSOV MED REPUBLIKO SLOVENIJO IN KRALJEVINO SAUDSKO ARABIJO
Republika Slovenija in Kraljevina Saudska Arabija sta se v želji po razvijanju odnosov med državama, razširitvi področja sodelovanja in podpori mednarodnemu miru in varnosti v svetu
odločili, da vzpostavita diplomatske odnose in izmenjata diplomatski predstavništvi na ravni veleposlaništev, na podlagi ustrezne Dunajske konvencije, v želji, da bi s takim korakom utrdili plodno sodelovanje na političnem, ekonomskem, trgovinskem, tehničnem in kulturnem področju ter na drugih področjih skupnih interesov, ustrezno težnjam obeh držav po prijateljskih odnosih in stikih.
Sestavljeno v New Yorku 7. junija 1995, kar ustreza 9. Muharram 1416 Hijra, v dveh izvodih v slovenščini, arabščini in angleščini, pri čemer so vsa besedila enako verodostojna.

P R O T O K O L <BR>ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS BETWEEN THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA AND THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA
The Republic of Slovenia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, desirous to promote the relations between the two countries widening the horizons of cooperation and supporting the cause of international peace and security;
have decided to establish diplomatic relations and exchange diplomatic missions at the level of embassies, in terms of the relevant Vienna Convention willing by this step to strengthen fruitful cooperation in political, economic, trade, technical, and cultural spheres and in other fields of mutual interest, and responding to the aspirations of the two countries for friendly relations and contacts.
Done in New York on June 7, 1995 (Corresponding to 9 Muharram 1416 Hijra) in two copies in Slovene, Arabic and English, all texts being equally authentic.
