Uredba o ratifikaciji Sporazuma o sodelovanju vojaške policije Slovenske vojske v operaciji »Kovačnica miru« med Vlado Republike Slovenije in Organizacijo Severnoatlantskega pakta

Dear Minister,
    I have the honour to refer to the Participation and Financial Agreements between the Republic of Slovenia and the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation dated 31 July and 11 August 1997, and their related arrangements regarding a Stabilization Force /SFOR) in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
    It is with appreciation that I accept the additional offer of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia to provide to SFOR a Military Police Platoon consisting of approximately 25 personnel.
    It is my understanding that this additional offer is made and accepted under the conditions and provisions of the above-mentioned agreements.
    I have the honour to propose that this letter and your reply confirming the agreement of your government to the terms thereof shall constitute an agreement which shall enter into force on the date of your reply.

I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of 23 September 1998 which reads as follows:

    I have the honour to confirm on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia that the above cited agreement is acceptable for the Republic of Slovenia with the exception of the fourth paragraph relating to its entering into force. In accordance with the Law on Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, the agreement shall enter into force when all internal legal procedures required for entry into force of this agreement have been fulfilled; it shall however be applied provisionally as of the date of this reply.
