POVZETEK
According to the Constitution of the Republic of Slovenia
the attorneyship is part of the justice administration.
It is autonomous and independent which is an indispensable
condition for the functioning of democratic
society and the rule of law. As a part of justice administration
we, attorneys, feel obliged to react to the
recent numerous critics against the justice administration,
and especially so against the judiciary, expressed
by the media and the executive branch of power. The
subject matter of critics and their intensity was such
as to objectively constitute pressure on the judiciary.
