O RATIFIKACIJI SPORAZUMA MED VLADO REPUBLIKE SLOVENIJE IN VLADO
HAŠEMITSKE KRALJEVINE JORDANIJE O STATUSU SLOVENSKIH POLICISTOV,
RAZPOREJENIH V KRALJEVINO JORDANIJO ZARADI USPOSABLJANJA IRAŠKIH
POLICIJSKIH SIL

1. člen

Ratificira se Sporazum med Vlado Republike Slovenije in Vlado Hašemitske Kraljevine Jordanije o statusu slovenskih policistov, razporejenih v Kraljevino Jordanijo zaradi usposabljanja iraških policijskih sil, podpisan v Amanu 7. januarja 2006.

2. člen

Sporazum se v izvirniku v angleškem jeziku in prevodu v slovenskem jeziku glasi:
A G R E E M E N T    
BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA AND THE
GOVERNMENT OF THE HASHEMITE KINGDOM OF JORDAN CONCERNING THE
STATUS OF SLOVENIAN POLICE OFFICERS DEPLOYED IN THE KINGDOM OF
JORDAN FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAINING IRAQI POLICE FORCES

The Government of the Republic of Slovenia and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan,
    Implementing paragraph 16 of the Security Council Resolution 1511 of 16 October 2003 which emphasizes the importance of establishing effective Iraqi police and security forces and calls upon Member States to contribute to the training and equipping of Iraqi police and security forces,
    Have agreed as follows:

Article 1

The Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan shall facilitate the deployment of Slovenian police officers in the Kingdom of Jordan for the purpose of training Iraqi police forces.

Article 2

Slovene police officers deployed in the Kingdom of Jordan in accordance with Article 1 of this Agreement shall enjoy the same privileges and immunities as members of the administrative and technical staff of diplomatic missions under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 18 April 1961.

Article 3

This Agreement shall enter into force 30 days after its signature. It may be denounced through diplomatic notification, which shall become effective on the first day of the second month after its receipt by the other Party.
