One of the main advantages of arbitration is the flexibility
that the parties enjoy as regards the arbitral procedure.
An illustration of this flexibility is the freedom
of choice the parties have in respect of the place (or
seat) of arbitration. The place of arbitration has been
defined as the city where the arbitration takes place in
a legal sense, that is to say the place to which the arbitration
is legally attached.
