POVZETEK
Prispevek obravnava kazalnike in njihovo vlogo v okviru analize poslovanja. Pri tem poudarja njihovo poslanstvo kot oceno teže kazalcev. Posebej podana kritična presoja pri uporabi in pojasnjevanju kazalnikov. V pogledu razvrščanja je podana zamisel tipologije kazalnikov. Poudarjena je potreba po opredelitvi optimalnih kazalnikov za pomembnejša področja analize poslovanja. Posebej so podana temeljna načela oblikovanja kazalnikov.
ABSTRACT / SUMMARY
The article deals with financial ratios and their role in the business analysis. The author emphasizes the mission of ratios as an assessment of their importance. A critical view about using and explaining ratios is given. In the field of classification of the ratios, a concept of their typology is offered. The author shows some examples of optimal ratios, which are needed as an important part of business analysis. At the end of the article, some principles of constructing and using ratios are proposed.
